I love Monday Mornings..Its my most favorite time of the week..Everything starts back on schedule..Chaya goes to school, work begins, I map out meals for the meat, get the shopping done, prep everything before hand so I know I'm set for the week. I like to plan my meals Sunday night or Monday mornings. I decide what I will personally be eating that week (roughly-I'm never exact) and what I will be making for dinner. On Monday's I do the usual rounds- kosher market and trader joes..everyone once in a while I'll throw in a costco and a Ralphs if I cant find something I need..
My breakfast during the week is the same thing every morning. I've gotten so used to this eating routine and I feel its the best breakfast and way of eating for what I do..
My first client is at 7:00 a.m...I like to wake before that and have a big cup of green tea with lemon, aloe vera juice, and if I need good wake up call-some cayenne pepper. I dont like to eat heavy so early and since I have little time in between clients I will wait until 10:00 when I have a bigger break to eat breakfast. I like to eat my bigger meals in the morning so my go to breakfast is a grapefruit, coffee, and my PROTEIN PANCAKE. The pancake is simply oatmeal, egg whites and some cinamon. It tastes like a pancake, fuels me for the next few hours, and is very easy and simple to make.
I feel that if you set up your food schedule for the week and prep everything before hand, which I love to do on Mondays, you go into the week ready, prepared, and it makes a world of a diference when trying to implement healthy eating habits.
Later on I will blog about what I generally eat throughout the day and week, and I also feel like there are some staples EVERYONE should have in their pantry, but Trader Joes is caling my name!!!
